Skada is a modular damage meter with various viewing modes, segmented fights and customizable. Both Skada and Recount are just not accurate. WoW Skada Damage Meter addon Shadowlands/Burning Crusade. Just telling you what I have seen when comparing the data of 10 peoples damage metres with each other and with WoL. go ahead and try recount, you may find it easier to use, and it shouldnt kill your performance too badly if you have any bit of somewhat of a decent computer. i would also say that if it is too complicated for you. as i have never used skada, follow the advice above. i have never had any problems with it, nor have i noticed its a performance guzzler, and i have a pretty bad computer. it may continue for a couple seconds but if anything it drops the dps by a couple hundred max. You telling me that on a 5-6 minute at least boss fight, that it will continue for 5-6 seconds afterwards and drop the dps by 10%. Alot of the time it will keep going after thi boss is dead for 5-6 seconds and drops all the dps and healing numbers by about 10%. Honestly I've found recount to not be very accurate.
